Lotame Wins IAB Research Award for Beyond the Cookie Report

We’re excited to announce Lotame has won a prestigious IAB Europe Research award for our research study, Beyond the Cookie: The Future of Advertising for Marketers and Publishers. The winners were announced and celebrated at the Gala Dinner of IAB Europe’s Flagship Annual Event ‘Interact’ on 25th May in Madrid.

The IAB Europe Research Awards recognise impactful and innovative research projects that have led to the development of the digital advertising industry. Lotame’s report was named a winner in the Digital Advertising and Marketing Industry Insights category. 

Our global research survey report, Beyond the Cookie: The Future of Advertising for Marketers and Publishers, took a deep dive into the minds of over 1,000 marketers and publishers in North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and India, to find out what the future looks like beyond the cookie, and how these industry professionals are preparing. We sought to find out: 

  • What keeps marketers & publishers up at night
  • How will investments pivot 
  • What should the future of digital advertising look like

As a follow-up to this report, we released Beyond the Cookie Part 2: Identity Testing & Adoption Among Marketers & Publishers. This global report surveyed nearly 1,400 industry professionals in seven major markets, this time including Latin America. Key findings included: 

  • Cookie deprecation will hurt revenue and reduce workforce
  • Marketers and publishers are embracing IDs for different reasons 
  • Marketers and publishers want to use multiple identity solutions 
  • The Google cookie delay was welcomed and expected
